Husumer Schiffswerft - Kröger Classic 125
History
- 1967 built in Husum as a classical registered as "Kollund" in Flensburg, used for long distances, because it was really fast - 14 kt.!!!
- 1981 sold to Heiligenhafen
- 1987 again in its homeport Flensburg
- 1989 now named "Freya II"
- 1994 got a new bowform which makes 16 % less displacement, more boast in heavy seas, and a better behaviour at see, finally - 2 kt more speed!!!
- 1998 bought by the present owner
- The boat got a complete renovation and ends almost NEW! The special rail was extended. A new and bigger bridge/house was built. The boat was extended 2.80 meters (8.5 feet). Additional Sidetanks for a better seabehaviour and for larger distances. Aircondition build in. All engines and generators totally overhauled. New Windows, armour-glass, and so on..........

REAL MARINEENGINE! Constructed for the professional vessels. Runs constantly 1.500upm (Opposite to yachtingengines which have less volume and are driven with a higher of revolutions)

Economical speed 10 kt max. 17 kts. With 10 kt consumption only 45 liters (11 gal.) per hour you fill at the freemarket for around -.15 Euro per liter (-.40 Euro per gal.)
P. example: Atlantic-crossing Europe- Caribbean ca. 2500 nautical miles = 250 h enginehours with 10 kts /45l p.hour Consumption ca. 11,500 liter = ca. 1,750.00 EURO. That's cheaper than sailing !

OCEANWOLF can be driven with a minimum of crew the yate is very easy to handle there is enough room for a crew, and still more than enought space to guarantee privacy but even without crew Oceanwolf doesn´t make problems the present owner is driving / handling the yate only together his wife without any problem
