This lovely example of the Oyster 485 is in excellent condition with a dark blue hull and teak decks designed and equipped for enjoyable, safe and comfortable sailing.
She is updated with new standing rigging, up-to-date electronics and many new features necessary for long distance sailing in comfort. She has been enjoyed by a wife and husband team who have sailed her in the UK, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.
She is equipped with a fully battened main sail, furling Genoa, cruising chute, tri radial spinnaker, stay sail and storm jib. The removable inner forestay and 2 spinnaker poles makes for interesting and fun sailing. The electric winches and bow thruster makes her easy to handle.
The Yacht is for sale to make way for a larger model of Oyster.
 
Interior
The interior is finished in teak and designed to be both practical and durable with sculpted fiddles and grab rails. Upholstery is in blue Alcantara.
The galley work surfaces are in beautiful dark granite, practical and very durable.
Six berths in 3 cabins (option of sea-berth in the saloon)
2 heads with showers - Metal flyscreens and Oceanair screen to hatches and there are lee cloths to all the berths.

Heads (starboard)
Manual toilet (we replaced the electric toilet in 2010) washbasin and shower and various storage cupboards. Electrical controls to the black water tank.
Saloon
There is a curved settee around an extendable table on the port side. The starboard side has another curved settee that can be converted to a sea berth (trotter box). There are bookshelves and a bar unit to accommodate glass and bottle stowage.
Navigation area is to port
Galley (starboard)
All surfaces are in granite with a gimballed Force 10 4 burner cooker with grill and oven, twin stainless steel sinks, front opening refrigerator. The galley is very practical with plenty of storage space. The icebox has been removed to make room for additional storage. Emergency manual fresh water hand pump.
Owner’s stateroom with en-suite heads
There is a double berth, settee, dressing table and mirror and equipped with an abundance of drawers and lockers as well as hanging locker.
En-suite is to port with a manual toilet (new 2010), wash basin and separate shower. There are also several very useful large lockers.
